
Bellamy Young was born Amy Maria Young in the month of February, 1970."1" She's an American singer, actress also known as producer, actor, and singer famous for her role in the role of Melody "Mellie," Grant in ABC's Scandal from 2012 to 2018. In 2014, Critics' Choice TV awarded her the top Supporting Actress award in a Drama Series. Also, she was a part of the Fox show Prodigal Son (2019-2021). Young began her career as an actor at the theatre. Her Broadway debut was in 1997 in the role of Mary in The Life.
