Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, is a singer-songwriter and Canadian American. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative, but it also contains influences such as hip-hop, punk and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own record label in 1990. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They were introduced at The Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian heritage. Ani DiFranco wrote and sang 32 Flavors. This track is on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995.
