Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss is one of the most popular and richest Country Singer who was born on the 23rd July in Decatur Illinois United States. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. She began her career in the industry at an early age having won local competitions at the age of 10 and recording her first album at the age of 14. When she was 14, she enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 she released her first solo album. She was invited to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and released her first album with them as a band in 1989.
